Several people across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole have been recognised in the King’s Birthday Honours.
Christchurch councillor Mike Cox has been made a CBE for political and public service. He is Treasurer of the Liberal Democrats.
Linda Magistris from Poole received an OBE for founding The Good Grief Trust after losing her partner.
Susan Wilkinson from Christchurch was also given an OBE for helping protect historic churches.
And David Richmond-Coggan has been awarded a BEM for his years of RNLI voluntary work in Bournemouth and Poole.
